Tickets to see country singer Carrie Underwood at the Rockford MetroCentre on April 10 sold out today within an hour and 15 minutes of going on sale to the general public.

Most of the tickets sold in the first 15 minutes through metrocentre.com.

“So, we highly recommend that patrons consider purchasing online for future sales,” said Brian Luther, general manager of the downtown venue.

*I have been getting a lot of questions regarding concert tickets and such, so I thought I would just make a small note. Many of the shows are pretty much sold out for the most part, but tickets can still be purchased at ticketmaster.com, ebay, ticketsnow, or other ticket vendors. Please take note that tickets sold on websites where people are reselling them, they will definitely be more expensive than face value due to brokers. But, be sure to check everything out because deals can be found.
