Carrie Underwood is gearing up for a big push to promote her new album, Play On, which hits stores November 3rd. In addition to hosting the CMA Awards on November 11th, she will hit the American Music Awards stage just 11 days later.

Carrie Underwood is the first country artist in history to achieve 10 #1 singles from her first two albums, and is the current reigning ACM Entertainer Of The Year. She is also a 4-time Grammy(r) winner and 3-time reinging ACM and CMA Female Vocalist Of The Year. Today she received 2009 CMA nominations for Female Vocalist Of The Year and Vocal Event Of The Year (with Randy Travis) for “I Told You So”.

* Sorry for the lack of updates guys! It’s been a busy school week, but things should get better! When more Carrie appearances/magazine cover announcements are announced, I will add those to this list as well! Also be sure to keep requesting “Cowboy Casanova” on your local Country music station! It made history for female artists this year when it debuted at #26 with ONLY a little over 3 days of airplay, since it never got the full week of rotation because it had to be quickly released after the wrong version got leaked.
